Performing a cheap Umrah is now an easy task because of
Saudi Arabia's open an international market, which issues tourist visas quickly
and in a few clicks, you can complete an Umrah obligation without going through a travel agency.
Saudi Arabia as part of its opening project that has been
allowing international tourists, Muslim and non-Muslim, since September 2019,
to visit the country. From now on, tourists have access to all cities except
Mecca and Medina which are only allowed to Muslim tourists outside the hajj
period. Indeed, the tourist visa for Saudi Arabia can be used to carry out an
Umrah but not the hajj which requires a specific visa. You can still perform Umrah during Ramadan which is
equivalent to a hajj.
The visa application is done in a few
minutes:
To make your request, you must go to the dedicated
platform. You will first be asked to fill in your personal information and then
pay the entrance fees. You will get your e-visa, subject to acceptance by the
Saudi authorities. It's that simple!
It is recommended that you apply for an e-visa as far in
advance as possible, at least two months in advance. As the procedure is new,
it may take time to set up. Also, take your tickets after having received
confirmation of visas or take out insurance on your plane tickets so as not to
have any surprises.
The e-visa gives the right to multiple entries into the
country for a year without exceeding 90 days per stay. You will, therefore, be
able to perform one or more Umrah
obligation in less than 3 months.

Can a single woman do Umrah without a
Mahram?
This question comes up often, now Saudi Arabia wishes to open
up to the world and develop tourism on its soil. Before the implementation of
the tourist visa, it was strictly forbidden to make the Umrah without mahram
unless you were older than 45 years.
However, this rule is obsolete. From now on, you can get a
Tourist Visa to complete umrah even if you are under 45 and you do not have a
mahram. If you desire to travel to Saudi Arabia, consider Flightstoumrah.co.uk
